To participate in FALC sponsored shows and exhibits, one must be juried in as a exhibiting member. Artists who have submitted 3 pieces of original art which meet with the approval and acceptance of the voting members will be awarded "Exhibiting Membership". Jurying in will take place at most meetings.

Membership for continuing members is $45.00 per year, January through December.

$45 - full year membership

$25 - half year membership (Jurying after June 2023 till December 2024)

Artist Statement - My Beads are small abstract landscapes. Distilling the landscape down to the essential components allow me to get to the heart of a scene. A simple wave evokes the feeling of being on the beach, an ocean scene suggests the joy of snorkeling, nature scenes in silhouette are reminders of a quiet evening walk.

University Art 15th Annual Open Art Competition & Exhibition & High School Emerging Artists Competition for Artists in Northern California University Art’s “UArt Open” is an annual art competition and exhibition held to promote the arts and to showcase outstanding work in a variety of media from artists, and emerging high school artists, all over the Bay Area and Sacramento. The Sheridan Prize for Art is the first and only regional art prize in the San Francisco Bay Area. The Prize for Art is accepting artwork from all Bay Area artists from September 7 – now to November 8, 2023. There are 10 very interesting and different Categories of Art or Artists to submit artwork to below. Each group is juried and awarded independently from the others. Artists may submit up to 8 total entries that apply to those Categories, as they choose. They are: Painting/Drawing/Murals, Sculpture, Photography, Printmaking, Experimental Art, Women Artists, Artists of Color (BIPOC), LGBTQ+ Artists, Incarcerated Artists (who participate free) and Immigrant Artists.
