Although I have always had a deep desire to paint growing up, I lacked the self confidence to try. In adulthood, that desire grew stronger and although I didn't have any academic training in art, I sought out a painting teacher and found Stephan Baumann of The Grand View. He is truly a gifted and talented teacher, who taught me the beauty of oil painting. I have also worked for the Thomas Kinkade company, Light Post Publishing, where I was able to study his works and learn about the business of art. I am an eclectic painter and paint whatever images resonate whether it is due to colors, composition, or an emotion I wish to capture. I mainly paint portraits, landscapes, and still life in oils, but also paint outdoor plein air in acrylic and oil. Commission work can be done upon request.
