I was introduced to fine art
by an uncle who was a painter of landscapes. At age 9 he handed me a
couple of brushes, some half used oil paints and a piece of masonite
and told me to go out and paint. That incident led to a love affair
with art that has bound me to my easel with a passion. It keeps my life
exciting and wondering what the next canvas will reveal. I classify
myself as a modern impressionist. My art reflects a creative need to
express my love of life and nature in all of its aspects. To capture
the enigma of a human expression or relationship, the color of a flower
or the magnificence of our world is my true reward.
