Encouraged by my mother, an art teacher and my mentor, I became an artist at an early age. I graduated from San Jose State College with an art degree and taught 28 years in the public schools. I am teaching 2 classes in the arts through the East Side High School District and enjoy just about every media: watercolor, pastel, acrylic, calligraphy and I like working with 3 dimensional art such as gourds and wind chimes. Lets face it! I just like to create and color my world!
