Art is created with the intention of stimulating thoughts and emotions, and a process of using the creative skill. Oil Painting is one of the best ways to express myself without spoken. I find inspiration anywhere if I take a few moments to seek it out, leaves falling gracefully, the afternoon sunshine on child's face, or the light reflecting on a city on a rainy night.

I was raised up in a traditional family in southern China. My father is an artist. I enjoyed seeing him paint, write and draw when I was young. In 1994, I moved to America. I lived in Palo Alto and attended Foothill College. In 2003, I took a figure drawing class at the Palo Alto Art center. That was the beginning of the exploration through art into the fears, joys and excitement of my life. As a busy mother, I find that painting is a hobby, a kind of window into the world
